Who We Are

A Gesture of Love is a 501 c3 non-profit corporation founded in 2020. The primary purpose of the organization is to impact society by meeting the social needs of families, children, and adults with the provision of household necessities, school supplies, toiletries, and educational services, etc…Our goal is to transform lives and to provide for those in need of immediate attention. A gesture of love is built on love and faith. We are here to make a difference and serve a need for those who lack the general necessities.

Our Founder

Gloria Walker is the founder and Executive Director of “A Gesture of Love.” She is a devoted Christian, a public speaker, a mentor, a professional educator and the published author of “ the Book of Gloria, a personal story of Persistence and The Journey ahead, not always a dream”. She is fulfilling her purpose by committing her time in meeting a variety of needs for her community: families, men, women, and children. Her goal through “A Gesture of Love” is to transform lives and provide for those in need of immediate attention. Her passion extends to loving God, serving people by proactively providing help where needed. Your donations are greatly appreciated. 

While away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, watching movies, and serving various communities.
